Agricultural Policy and Regulations Best Practices for the CVRD - Comments
The protection of our food system is vital for the sustainability of the Cowichan Valley. More specifically, our agricultural lands and productive soils are defining features of the Cowichan Valley’s ambiance and beauty, and agriculture’s associated industries form an important sector of our local economy.
The CVRD is developing a modernized Official Community Plan for the Electoral Areas Bylaw No. 4373 (OCP). A review of the draft OCP and existing electoral area zoning bylaw agriculture regulations was completed to inform best practice recommendations in the development of the OCP and Land Use Bylaw.

The CVRD is inviting comments on the report recommendations, specifically ideas on implementation in the CVRD.
